The Beginning

For as long as I can remember, I've been captivated by stories.

The characters who refused to give up. The places that felt like home. The moments that quietly changed everything.

That fascination led me to write my first novel more than a decade ago. Since then, I've written ten books, spent nearly twenty years building brands, and discovered something unexpected: The stories that move us most aren't limited to the pages of a novel.

They're everywhere.

They're found in small businesses with big dreams. In coastal towns waiting to be explored. In creatives searching for the right words.

And in ordinary lives that are far more extraordinary than they realize.

Why Storytelling Matters

When I sit down to write a novel, I don't start with the plot.

I start with the person.

Who are they?
What shaped them?
What are they afraid of?
What are they fighting for?
What do they want the world to understand about them?

Because the most memorable characters aren't perfect. They're layered. They're human. They're a collection of experiences, hopes, flaws, and moments that made them who they are.

People and brands are no different.

The stories we connect with most are the ones that reveal what exists beneath the surface. The heart behind the business, the purpose behind the passion, the moments that made someone who they are.

That realization changed the way I approached everything.
